Overview
A long hooded kimono robe in hand-block-printed cotton, cut to mid-calf with wide sleeves and an open front. Oversized hood, tie belt, two patch pockets. Light enough to pack, warm enough for a night that runs late. Handmade for ceremony and festival.
Long nights are mostly spent sitting. On the ground in ceremony, or in a field somewhere between sets, with the temperature dropping the whole time. A hooded kimono robe handles that better than layers. It falls to mid-calf, so it covers your knees on the floor, and stays open at the front so nothing binds when you fold forward.
An oversized hood
Pull it forward and you get some distance from everything without going anywhere. Four in the morning is when that earns its place.
Hand block printed cotton
The bands are block printed by hand, pressed into the cloth one carved wooden block at a time with each join judged by eye. They run down both front edges, frame the hood, sit above each cuff and border the hem. The joins land differently every time, so no two robes are the same.
Fabric and fit
Soft cotton, hand loomed. Light enough to pack down small, open enough in the weave to sit near a fire in. Two buttons on cord loops, a tie belt, two patch pockets. Wide kimono sleeves with a raw fringe at the cuff. Falls to mid-calf.

May I safely wash and dry your products?
Our garments are handmade and naturally dyed . . . So we highly recommend Hand washing to ensure longevity.
Place your garment in cold water for 30 minutes. Rinse the water gently out of the item.
Machine Wash is also ok, just choose the delicate or gentle mode setting, use cold water and no bleach.
Drying - Air dry in the shade (minimise exposure to direct sunlight).
Do you accept returns and exchanges?
We gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations:
- Contact us within: 14 days of delivery.
- Send items back within: 30 days of delivery.
- Request a cancellation: Before the item has been dispatched.
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
